David Hryvniak of Fairfax Presents Research at Energy Conference

David Hryvniak a senior at James Madison University, presented research this week at the Energy and Sustainability Conference in Richmond.

Hryvniak, an integrated science and technology and studio art major, is part of a team of students that is teaching energy conservation to fellow students in a course created by the students.

The Energy and Sustainability Conference brings together national leaders from various businesses and market sectors to discuss how sustainability is changing and influencing the future of organizations and businesses. Sessions focused on market sectors in manufacturing, healthcare, local and state government, higher education and commercial real estate.

The conference was held Wednesday, Jan. 30 and Thursday, Jan. 31 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center and was hosted by Virginia Commonwealth University.
