JMU student Baxter is Governor's Fellow

Ian Baxter of Richmond, Virginia, a James Madison University political science major, is one of 34 participants in the 2015 Governor's Fellows Program in Virginia.

During his two-month assignment, Baxter is working with the Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry Todd Haymore and Sam Towell, deputy secretary.

The Governor's Fellows Program was established in 1982 to provide firsthand experience in the administration of state government in the commonwealth. Fellows are selected for their excellence in academics, leadership abilities and community involvement.
