Janey Goodman of Powhatan Earns Cornell Invitational All-Tournament Team Honors

Janey Goodman of Powhatan earned Cornell Invitational All-Tournament honors after leading James Madison volleyball to an undefeated weekend an its best season start since 1999.

Goodman was named Most Valuable Player after a success weekend on the court.

Goodman topped the Dukes with 59 kills, averaging 5.90 pet set, while attacking at a monstrous .424 clip over 10 sets. The right side hitter also chipped in 12 total blocks, while adding 24 digs, four service aces and on assist. The Powhatan, Va. native set a career-high for kills over three sets with 22 in the Dukes sweep over Cornell.

JMU's 6-1 start to the 2016 season is the best since the 1999 season when the Dukes opened the year winning seven straight contests.
