Janey Goodman of Powhatan Earns Fairfield Invitational All-Tournament Team Honors

Topping James Madison vollyeball offensively and moving up the all-time kills list, Janey Goodman of Powhatan earned Fairfield Invitational All-Tournament team honors over the weekend.

Goodman tallying 42 kills. averaging 3.82 per set, while attacking at a .185 clip. The right side hitter added two service aces and 18 kills, while tallying nine total blocks at the net.

The Powhatan, Va., native climbed to fifth on the JMU all-time career kills list, closing the weekend with 1,315 kills. Goodman is just 16 kills shy from over taking Danielle Erb (2009-2012) for fourth place.
