John Cundiff of Fredericksburg represents JMU ROTC at Sandhurst Military Skills Competition

John Cundiff was part of a team of 11 James Madison University Army ROTC Duke Battalion cadets that competed in the 2014 Sandhurst Military Skills Competition at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on April 11 and 12.

The Ranger Challenge Team finished 24th of out 57 teams from across the world, and they were the first JMU team to compete in the prestigious event. Cundiff, a sophomore intelligence analysis major, was an integral part of the team. The competition tested cadet's weapon skills, Army tactics and physical fitness.
