Olivia Lehman of Dayton Named CAA Co-Diver of the Week

With a season-best performance in a deep field at the H2Okie Fall Invitational, senior Olivia Lehman of James Madison swimming and diving was named Colonial Athletics Association Co-Diver of the Week.

The recognition is the sixth of Lehman's career and the second of the season for the Dukes as she posted two NCAA Zone Qualifying scores in the 1-meter and 3-meter competition over the weekend.

The lone diver competing for JMU, Lehman placed third out of 30 divers in the 3-meter with 294.75 points, her third NCAA Zone Qualifying mark and her highest total score in the event this season. The senior placed sixth in final competition with a score of 269.60.

In the 1-meter dive, Lehman placed eighth out of 30 divers in prelim action with a score of 260.0 to earn a spot in the finals. She bested her score in the finals with a 267.60 mark, her third-highest mark of the season, to place sixth and earn her third NCAA Zone qualifying score of the season.

JMU swimming and diving will take a break from competition and return to the pool on Saturday, Jan. 14 in head-to-head competition at Richmond. Competition will begin at noon inside Robins Center Natatorium.
