Taylor Gail of Chesapeake Named to VaSID All-State Team

Taylor Gail of James Madison volleyball was selected by the Virginia Sports Information Directors to the VaSID All-State team.

Sophomore Gail earns her first VaSID honors of her career with her Second Team selection. The middle blocker led JMU and the conference with 1.31 blocks per set with a league-leading 149.0 total blocks, the fifth-most over a single season in JMU history. She also garnered the fourth-most block assists over a single-season (132). In only her second year at JMU, Gail has etched her name as one of the best blockers in school history as her 1.17 career blocks per set average currently ranks second all-time. The middle blocker added 134 kills on 346 swing for a .208 hitting percentage. Gail also added four assists, 15 service aces and 41 digs this season.
