Zachary Tondi of Wood-Ridge, N.J. named to The Johnny Bench Award Watch List

James Madison University baseball's Zachary Tondi of Wood-Ridge, N.J. was named to The Johnny Bench Award Watch List by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission.

Tondi has started all 12 games of the 2017 season while leading the Dukes in RBIs.

The award is given annually to the top Division 1 collegiate catcher. Eighty-five catchers were nominated for the award by their coaches and the semifinalists will be announced on May 17.
